Meet the 8-bit Shack TEAM
Marc unpacked his Apple II a few years ago and fulfilled his childhood dream of learning assembly language whilst babysitting his infant children. He started 8 bit shack back in 2017 to making demos and exploit rarely used graphic modes to create a plethora of awesome software. Marc lives in the Ore Mountains in Germany with his family where he is an Oncologist by day and 6502 coder by night.
Dr. Marc A. Golombeck is a physicist and a physician researching in the field of the application of PET-MRI for diagnosis and treatment of pediatric Hodgkin-Lymphoma.

Pennsylvania, USA
Jonathan is a product of the 70’s and 80’s and the PC revolution. His first personal computer was the Timex Sinclair 1000 that was purchased for him in kit form and had to be soldered and assembled. From there, there were many home computers, of which, his favorite, was his beloved Apple //c which he still has today. Jonathan entered the Retro Computing scene during the COVID lockdown after he pulled out his beloved Apple //c. Jonathan’s amazing skill of bringing people and ideas together has been a major asset to 8-Bit Shack and the community alike.
Dan Henderson
Applesoft Coding Expert & Graphic Designer
England
Happily married with 2 kids, I live on the edge of the Peak District in northern England where I enjoy walking my Beagle, Max. I work for myself designing and selling furniture and kitchens.
I am a lifelong Apple II fanatic and am lucky enough to own a collection of 8 bit micros which I have built up over several years. I enjoy designing games and programming in BASIC but my first love is and always has been computer graphics. Together with Marc, Sellam and too many others to name, I have written about 20-30 games and demos since rediscovering this hobby in 2018.
